For most people, annoying your parents is something you try not to do... Not the Burke boys... that's our hobby... as kids, our mom used to dress us up in "cute" outfits... we are keeping that tradition going... (SIDEBAR) if you have ever seen arrested development, my mom reminds me of Lucille in this picture.

DC Washington sang the old spiritual "where you there?" one of my favorite hymns at his easter pageant... i was fortunate enough to get a photo op with him.... and the shirt says it all....

Why costco is terrible

I was shopping the other day for some necessary items for my house and some stuff to share at the office with my co-worker... I spent roughly 1 1/2 hours in there getting all the stuff i needed... at the check out the price came to 185 dollars. i swiped my Navy FCU card and the cashier said, "we don't take Navy Fed" so i reluctantly pulled out my Wachoiva card and she said, "we don't take visa"... at this point i was mildly frustrated so i ask, "Well what do you take?" "Cash, Check, or American Express" all of which i had none... and American Express? honestly, who even has that card? so i went to bloom, settling the fact that i didn't really need 12 bottles of Tylenol or 310 rolls of toilet paper and bought just what i needed at bloom, who saved me 100 dollars and took what ever card i gave them...

Jadey in the spotlight

I would contend that you would be hard pressed to find a better woman to marry your brother... Jadey has always been a part of our family, practically since i can remember... i just wanted to throw a quick shout out to my sister-in-law...

Why is Bobby-O the greatest person?

I must say.... ashamedly no less.... that i have overlooked the greatness of one of my good friends... I have several associates but a tight knit group of friends... spotlight this time is Bobby-O... he has been featured in a few blogs previous, but let me just drop a few "tips" if you will... first off... PHENOM musician!!! and that alone is a quality that puts him in a whole new category... then, ciabatta sandwiches... i don't even go to the grocery store any more. Sperry shoes... the best shoes i own... and finally, a grand finale if you will, he has been a major influence in my christian walk, by leading by example... seriously, to know him is to know greatness...
