Kinder "I don't really" Care

So, today I went to see Sydney's school... she goes to KinderCare. I was truly dissapointed in the whole set up... Although Sydney's teacher, Nicole, was really nice, the organization and cleanliness was something to be desired... Sydney is growing up so fast on me... I can remember staring at her at DeWitt Army Hospital in the little clear plastic Bassenett, and even being excited to change her first messy diaper (if you can believe that, and I'm not a fan of that so much any more)... to all who read this with children, maybe you can relate, or maybe not, but the joy, or should I say privilege, of being a dad has been the greatest thing that has ever happend to me... and no one can ever care for your child like you can.

No such thing as a "free lunch"

Today, the amazing group of people I associate with, came up from Stafford to Springfield (about 30 miles one way) to eat lunch with me... This is exactly what I mean about "good friends"... it the concrete jungle, where less than one percent care about anyone but themself. that's an awfully far drive just to take an hour lunch with a friend. The best part of that is, it truly renews my outlook and gives me a good perspective of just how fortunate I am to have such friends...

Explaining "the tip"

For most of you who know me and Damian Barnette, everything is on some sort of "tip"... let me explain how "the tip" works... If you want to explain something, but want to elaborate on a certain quality or attribute that someone or something has, you use "on that______ tip"instead of just saying what it is... here's a good example... my Good friend, Dr. Jason M. Pelt, some what looks like John Ritter, the famous actor.... so when I first saw this photo, instead of just saying, "hey, Jason kinda reminds me of John Ritter!" he was "on that "John Ritter" tip....

Great times at Stafford Baptist Church

Very rarely, do I not enjoy myself at church... Funerals are pretty much the only time I don't like to go. But last night I had the privilege of working on some music with Keilan Creech, who is by far one of the most talented musicians alive... this guy is going to be famous. To further sweeten the deal, Brittany, Stacy, Alyssa, and Brandi showed up as well, then to make it from just being a great night to "THE BEST NIGHT OF ALL TIMES" is that Bobby-O showed up. I don't say this often, but these people have truly made a huge impact on my life and I think god for them everyday... if you don't have friends like them, you don't have friends...

Running this morning

This Morning I decided to "dust off"(and yes they did have dust on them) the ol' Army PT's and go running with, Bobby-O and Zach Castle... let's just say, it's not fair that Bobby's Legs are 13 Feet long and Zach is probably in better condition than I was when I was on Active Duty... I'm thinking that this is going to be routine... so if your interested in running, come join us, if your interested in drinking coffee and eating donuts... come join me...

Again... another great recommendation from Stafford's finest Lawyer

Thanks to Jason, I have joined the bloggers...
